Katelynn is not a little chubby girl anymore

Tonight I was looking at Katelynn's 3 month professional pictures. Her little legs and face were SO chubby. I guess going mobile really does make them lean. She is turning into a little bean pole now. She is cute at both stages, but I must say that I missed those little rolls of fat when I saw them in those pictures.

O Christmas Tree!

So, this year I thought I had done a really good job about lowering my expectations of what I could get done for Christmas decorating. So, I was very pleased with myself that in one evening I got the tree decorated and the nativity up... plus several other little things like candles, wreaths, etc. Gene did a bunch of ornament hanging too, so I guess the credit can't all go to me. Well, it isn't as good as this tree at the White House, but it's good enough for me! Last year all decorating happened when I was 9 months pregnant. Difficult, but not as difficult as decorating with an actual baby around! So I go to bed tonight very satisfied and in the Christmas spirit.
