Recently Nanna & PopPop took KK to the zoo and she had a blast. They even coddled her into feeding the parakeets and spent too much money on little birdseed popsicles for her.
I am so grateful that Katelynn has grandparents that love to spend time doing fun things with her! Even when they are not at the zoo, she has so much fun at their house doing ordinary fun things.... hitting golf balls with PopPop, planting trees with PopPop, walking to Ms. Ann's house with Nanna to feed the deer or visit the cat, sorting buttons in Nanna's sewing room, eating cauliflower for breakfast (!).... She is going to have so many wonderful childhood memories of her grandparents. I didn't get to experience that since my grandparents all lived far away. KK is one lucky girl, and I am one happy mommy.
