I don't know if it is all the Calliou or if mommy's constant reminders are sinking in. KK has had a major breakthrough with her requests lately though. She has started using full sentences and ending her requests with an emphatic "PLEASE?"
Mommy, may I have a popsicle PLEASE?
Mommy, can I watch Caillour PLEASE?
Mommy, can I go in the sandbox PLEASE?
Mommy, can I play in the sink PLEASE?
It has been a nice change. There is still plenty of whining most days, too, mixed in with the pleasantries. But I'll take what I can get.
