Katelynn's vocabulary is slowly starting to blossom. Her foreign language babble seems to be getting closer and closer to English. All this has led to both her grandparents and parents constantly prodding her to say words. But, usually she is unwilling to perform for us.
Tonight, completely on her own though, she gave Grandpa his official name. She pointed at him and said over and over, "Poppy!". Then when we were leaving she gave him a hug and said "Bye Poppy." It made everyone's hearts melt!
Dad wants to spell it "Poppi." I can't wait to see what she comes up for me. Dad is thrilled. I'm jealous.
ReplyDeleteThe naming of grandparents is a very important job for Katelynn. She has done it well. (So far.)
